Brian Smith is a Lead Guide at Exum Mountain Guides and an Internationally Certified AMGA/IFMGA American Mountain Guide.  He has been climbing for over 25 years, skiing for over 35 years, and guiding at Exum since 2005.  Brian resides in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and has been a ski patroller at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, led rock and mountaineering courses for the National Outdoor Leadership School, is a backcountry ski guide at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, and teaches high altitude expedition climbing and skiing in Peru for the School for International Expedition Training.  He also teaches Avalanche Courses for the American Avalanche Institute.  In the midst of juggling multiple jobs and raising a daughter, Brian enjoys fly fishing, mountain biking, kayaking, climbing, skiing, ice climbing, and traveling.
