Elizabeth White

Elizabeth White is a Managing Editor at GearLab, who has published nearly 1000 Gear Reviews. She has lived out of a canvas tent at 9,000 feet in Colorado's Pike National Forest for several months, enduring the rain, snow, and sunshine, while cooking her meals over a fire and trekking on foot everywhere she went. She has worked as an Outdoor Education Instructor, helping kids learn to rock climb, conquer their fears on ropes courses, and learn wilderness skills. She also earned her certificate as a Leave No Trace Instructor and Wilderness First Responder. She is a former ski and snowboarding instructor in Lake Tahoe, where she graduated from Sierra Nevada University with a Degree in Journalism. She became a Journalist, writing for many prominent magazines and newspapers.
