Renée McCormack brings a broad technical knowledge of skiing to her role as an GearLab tester. She's a fully certified PSIA Level III Alpine Instructor who has been teaching skiing for well over a decade, first at Vail and now in Mammoth Lakes, California. Renée leads the women's all-mountain ski review and has spent thousands of hours testing these skis in all types of terrain and snow. She has become an expert on comparing the specs, feel, and strengths and weaknesses of skis, and advises both GearLab readers and her personal clientele on the best pair for them. When she's not skiing (a rarity!), she and her husband teach scuba diving around the world, go rock climbing and mountain biking, and feed their travel bug.
