Tom Hallberg

Tom Hallberg is a Review Editor with an MFA in Creative Writing who has won regional and national awards for arts and culture reporting and investigative work on avalanche mitigation, as well as in-depth coverage of forest fires. His first bike was a coaster brake-equipped single speed that he used as a dirt jumper. Since then, he's gone through phases of just about every cyclist identity—BMXer, roadie, enduro rider, XC racer—but he spends most of his time on techy singletrack these days.
