Zach Wick

Zach Wick brings a deep knowledge of all things cycling to the OutdoorGearLab team. For most of his life, he’s been religiously riding, racing, and wrenching on bikes. He spent his teenage years racking up some noteworthy results as an elite amateur road racer including a California State Criterium Championship. Since receiving his Bachelor’s degree from UC Santa Cruz, he’s worked in the bike industry as a test lab technician, gaining experience and familiarity with everything that makes a good bike tick. These days you can find him out riding the trails around his home in Santa Cruz County and competing in the occasional mountain bike, cyclocross, or gravel race.
