Weehoo iGo Turbo Review

The Weehoo iGo Turbo is a pedal style trailer that allows your child the ability to contribute to the ride or to sit and enjoy the scenery. Our testing on this product has been on ongoing since 2013 and our outlook is quite positive. If your child is 2-6 years old the Weehoo iGo will be an option your child will love. The manufacturer describes this as suitable for an age range of 2-9, but in our testing, we found kids 7 yrs and older outgrow the Weehoo and most often prefer to ride their own bike. It is worth noting that this trailer is loved by kids who are learning to ride a bike, and also for younger kids even after they know how to ride (<7 yrs). Why? We think kids love it because it allows a child and parent to go on much longer (and faster) rides together than they could with the child on a separate bike. Kids who can already ride bikes on their own still love riding in the Weehoo because it allows them to experience a ride with their parents and go so much faster than they could on their own — they find it to be exhilarating and exciting (this seems to die out around age 7-ish, where the thrill of riding their own bike becomes preferred). The Weehoo makes for a wonderful way for a parent and child to commute together.
