The Lift Your Spirits gives outstanding compressive support that never feels confining but gives cozy support that leaves us satisfied - no need to change because it is hard to find a more comfortable everyday bra. Although it has no wire, the seams mimic the lining of an underwire bra and give a good balance of lift from above and stability from below to support the chest. The expansive upper racerback band reinforces the stabilizing compression, allowing it more support for higher-intensity gym workouts and even running for small to medium chests.

The bra balances traditional compression with seams that encapsulate and support the breast's shape to keep the girls in place. Although advertised as medium impact, it can hold you in for all but the most aggressive workouts for many bodies. However, you will want more coverage or support for running and high intensity for larger chests. The soft fabric has an excellent four-way stretch, making it easy to slide on and off between workouts, and it never feels like you could rip out the seams when pulling it over your head. The shoulder straps are broad and help lift the chest, and the back of the bra has a wider band than many sports bras, which adds excellent compression.

However, some testers noted from experience with yoga leggings made from the signature Spacedye fabric that pilling can happen with this material over time. Still, you can prevent wear and tear by air drying the bra. Since the material is quick to dry, we were impressed with how easy it was to dry the bra on a railing or chair swiftly.
