Max is well versed in alpine and nordic skiing, mountain biking, sea kayaking, backpacking, rock climbing, and mountaineering. He has traveled to twenty-eight nations including isolated areas in Chilean Patagonia and Eastern Siberia. In a life separate from outdoor gear Max attempts to find innovative solutions to environmental problems. He currently studies at the University of Michigan's School of Natural Resources and Environment.
