The Rab Neutrino 200 is an above average summer weight down sleeping bag. It has high-quality 800-fill down and Pertex Quantum shell material. The best part of the bag is it's $295 price tag, which is slightly cheaper than other bags we reviewed.
Dislikes
Even though it's slightly cheaper than other bags reviewed in this class we don't recommend the Neutrino 200. There are several drawbacks: 1) it has a wide cut that poorly suited to trim folk, 2) it has a neck baffle (an unnecessary feature in an ultralight bag), and 3) the neck baffle and hood drawcords are very thick and very long- they get in your way and extend far down into the bag when fully cinched. Most importantly, the bag only has seven ounces of down in it. That's roughly twice what's found in superlight down jackets. This is a sleeping bag and a wide one at that (wider bags require more down to create the same amount of loft as a narrower bag). It deserves more down. Finally, the bag has a fixed girth so it can't adapt to changes in clothing like quilts can.
