Our Verdict
Small but capable, the Bluetti 100 V2 is ideal for off-grid travel and short camping trips. It delivers enough power output to run high-draw camping devices like coffee makers and electric coolers, yet weighs just 25 lbs. It's also a stellar value, offering an impressive list of features typically reserved for more expensive power stations. Despite this, its slow recharge is hard to overlook in a competitive class of 1,000Wh power stations.

Likes
During testing, we measured 890 Wh out of its advertised 1,024 Wh, resulting in an impressive 87% capacity. This is well above the average efficiency mark and solidifies the 100 V2 as one of the most efficient power stations we've ever tested. It is also exceptionally quiet. During our power output tests, we ramped up the Bluetti to 80% of its rated output while monitoring fan noise. The fan stayed remarkably quiet the entire time. Plenty comfortable to run CPAP machines and fans overnight.
For a 1,000 Wh power station, it also has best in class solar input. With input up to 1,000 watts, the Bluetti is a solid option for off-grid camping and folks with extensive solar setups, such as panels integrated into a van build.

Dislikes
The glaring issue with the 100 V2 is its slow charging speed. We measured a charging rate of just 512 Wh/hr, which took the Bluetti two hours to recharge from 0%. Many competing models can charge twice as fast. Bluetti does have an option to recharge the 100 V2 using a “turbo boost” mode toggled through their app, but using this mode regularly will degrade the battery and shorten the power station's lifespan.
Our other gripe is Bluetti's misleading fast-charging advertisement. While charging a car 6x faster than the industry standard sounds appealing, it can only be done by purchasing a $250 inverter charger that requires installation in your car.

Should You Buy The Bluetti 100 V2?
The Bluetti 100 V2 is well-suited for short camping trips and emergency backup power around the house, and we appreciate its high efficiency rating, given its smaller battery. While its recharge time is slower than we would have liked, it still offers a few enticing features at an affordable price.
What Other Power Stations Should You Consider
The Anker Solix C1000 Gen 2 offers the same battery capacity, slightly higher power output, and recharge speeds that are twice as fast. It also features one of the best displays and mix of port options of any power station tested. If you're looking to step up your off-grid camping and power all your devices without compromise, the Jackery 2000 v2 is the ultimate power station for multi-day off-grid excursions. It is a more expensive option, but it delivers an even better price per watt than the Bluetti.
