Our Verdict
The Grecell 200W Portable is a very affordable solar panel from a brand we've tested many times over the past few years. For a folding panel, you can't do much better than this model at this price. It's lightweight, has great features to make it easy to use, and is easy to carry. However, it's one of the least efficient 200-watt solar panels we tested. And after our month-long testing period, the stitching is already coming undone, so we have durability concerns with this model. But if you're looking for the least expensive 200-watt folding solar panel, this is the one.

Likes
The Grecell is a very portable panel. You can easily carry this model in one hand while carrying other camping gear from your car to the campsite.
It weighs 17.3 pounds on our home test lab scale. That's even less than the manufacturer claims this panel weighs. It folds down three times to a three-inch-thick package that measures 25 by 21 inches.

It has a built-in cable bag that is handy for staying organized while you're transporting the panel. We leave the charging cables and adaptors in there, but there is extra room for more cables or other adaptors, too.
The Grecell also has two clips to close the panel when carrying it. This is useful when your hands are full, because the last thing you want is a solar panel unfolding in your hands while you're carrying a cooler with the other hand.

The Grecell is also very easy to set up.
It only took us 31 seconds to go from folded to charging with this model. This assembly time is the fastest of any panel we tested.

Dislikes
The Grecell isn't the most efficient at converting sunlight into energy, however.
In one hour, it only generated 112 watts of power. That's barely over 50% of the claimed efficiency.
Also, the kickstand legs could be better. They're not adjustable, and don't feel sturdy. Furthermore, after about 1 month of testing, the stitching on the legs is already beginning to separate at the back of the panel, making it even less sturdy. We're honestly a little skeptical about long-term durability with this model.

Should You Buy The Grecell 200W Portable?
The Grecell is very inexpensive, so you get a lot of dollars per watt with this model, in theory at least. In actuality, this panel delivers only about half of its claimed efficiency, making it closer to a 120-watt panel than the 200-watt one it is claimed to be. However, it is very portable and comes with many adaptors, so you likely won't need to purchase anything else to connect it to your existing power station. If you're on a tight budget, this is worth considering, but you could do better by spending a little more.

What Other Solar Power Stations Should You Consider?
If you need an affordable, more efficient solar panel, consider the Renogy 200W Portable. If you don't need the portability of a folding panel, consider the JJN Bifacial 200W, which costs less than the Grecell but is much more efficient.
