Our Verdict

The Rabbit EZ Tee lives up to its name. The Quick n Fit fabric is remarkably soft, and the semi-relaxed fit with raglan sleeves and flatlock seams makes it one of the most comfortable shirts to wear on easy days. UPF 50 protection is a strong feature and one of the few options in the review to offer any rated UPF protection. The thicker fabric retains more warmth than lighter competitors, which limits its appeal for high-intensity efforts in hot conditions, and the lack of dedicated odor control means it needs washing sooner. For easy-pace runs, recovery days, and casual wear, the EZ Tee is a comfortable companion.

The semi-relaxed fit of the Rabbit EZ Tee is forgiving without feeling sloppy, and the slightly thicker fabric adds a comfortable weight on easy days that thinner shirts cannot match. The Quick n Fit material backs up the name with a genuinely soft hand, one of the best in the lineup. Raglan sleeves and flatlock seams work together to prevent chafing. It offers excellent sun protection for outdoor training, with a UPF 50 rating. It is one of the highest-ranking options with a rated UPF. We found ourselves reaching for the EZ Tee on recovery days and easy-pace runs where comfort mattered more than peak ventilation.

Dislikes

The thicker fabric that makes the EZ Tee comfortable on cool mornings works against it in the heat. We noticed warmth building during faster efforts in humid conditions, and the breathability scored below average for running. There is no dedicated odor-control treatment, so this shirt needs washing sooner than options with antimicrobial or mint treatments. During testing, this shirt absorbed 2.9 ounces of water and reached full dryness in 25 minutes. The 6% spandex content likely contributes to both the comfortable stretch and the slower moisture release.

Should You Buy the Rabbit EZ Tee?

If you value soft fabric and a relaxed fit for easy runs, recovery days, and casual wear, the EZ Tee is a comfortable choice with solid sun protection. If your runs trend toward high-intensity or hot-weather training, the breathability limitations will push you toward lighter, more ventilated options. However, it is our favorite for sun protection (UPF 50+), as it is one of the highest-ranked options in the lineup, with the highest UPF rating.

What Other Running Shirts Should You Consider?

The Vuori Strato Tech Tee offers similarly soft fabric with better versatility, scoring, and anti-odor treatment. The Patagonia Capilene Cool Daily Shirt delivers better breathability, odor control, and overall versatility at a comparable price. However, neither has a UPF rating, making them poor stand-ins if sun protection is what you seek. For runners who want easy-day comfort with more airflow, the Brooks Dash T-Shirt is a lighter alternative and is rated UPF 40.
