This bag is priced well, but in addition to its amazing price, we really liked the designated laptop compartment. It sits against the wearer's back, and it's lined with raised, stippled, foam padding. It's also huge, so it can accommodate larger laptops up to 17.3", and it has a separate sleeve for your tablet.

The Lenovo Legion Armored is large, so it wears well and is comfortable for most body types. In particular, we really loved the feel of its integrated back-panel padding. It's soft, thick, and covered with mesh fabric to increase airflow.

Offering 32.5 liters of storage, the Legion Armored is one of the largest packs we've tested. While some testers didn't like the added bulk, those who liked gaming or just needed a lot of space loved this bag's massive compartments.

A big crowd pleaser was this bag's dedicated pouches for a headset, keyboard, and mouse. We also liked that it has a flared design. The bottom of the Legion is wide and reinforced, allowing it to stand on its own even when fully packed. Lastly, we doused it in the sink and found that it was reasonably water-resistant.

Dislikes

For some of our testers, the biggest negative was this pack's size. It's simply larger and bulkier than many of the other models in our lineup. This makes it a little harder to stow on a bus, train, or plane. It also makes the Lenovo heavier if packed to the brim.

This is not a discreet bag. If you aren't packing a lot of tech, the extra size and capacity may feel excessive. For reference, our tester falls into the L/XL size category and felt fine wearing this backpack, but if you have a more petite frame, you might not be as comfortable.

What Other Laptop Backpacks Should You Consider?

If you like the overall look of the Lenovo, but you don't need its larger storage, we think you should look into the Timbuk2 Authority Deluxe, WANDRD Nimbus 18, or Nomatic Navigator 15. All three have a similar sleek exterior, but also cost more, so keep that in mind. For tons of space at a lower price, we also love the The North Face Recon. It's also large enough to fit bigger laptops.
