Our Verdict
For a timeless style, the Calvin Klein Classics are hard to beat. They back up their fashionable appeal with excellent stitchwork and fabric selection, making them worth buying if you've got the scratch. If you're a fan of how cotton feels next to skin, the Classics deliver impressive comfort and just get softer with each wash. Just be aware that the thick cotton fabric may feel great, but these are best worn for more casual everyday use, and not what we would choose for exercise or travel, since the thick cotton fabric isn't as breathable or moisture-wicking as some other options.

Likes
We were most impressed by the quality of construction of the Calvin Klein Classics. Every seam we inspected was sewn to a high degree of accuracy. This makes the boxer briefs obviously look excellent when compared to a more sloppily put-together pair, but good quality control also means the Calvins will also fit as intended.

And try as we might, it is very difficult to argue with the overall comfort afforded by the thick, high-quality cotton like that found on the Classics. This pair of boxer briefs will last longer than cheaper pairs, and will most likely feel even more comfortable after a few washings than when new.

Dislikes
The thicker material didn't breathe super well, and when these cotton undies get wet, they take a longer time to air dry than many others. For this reason, you won't want to pack these on a backpacking trip or a two-week vacation where you plan to hand-wash and hang them to dry.

Should you Buy the Calvin Klein Classics 3-Pack?
If construction quality and comfort are paramount for you, go grab these boxer briefs. They're “Classics” for a reason: what makes a good pair hasn't all that changed much, and cotton has proven to be a fabric well-suited to be laid down next to your most sensitive skin.
