Rabbit EZ Tee - Women's Review
Our Verdict
Our Analysis and Test Results
Comfort
The EZ Tee is, quite simply, a joy to wear. The fabric has an almost brushed smoothness to it. It is not overly silky or slippery, but soft in a way that feels immediately familiar.
Some lightweight performance shirts can veer into tissue-paper territory, where you're afraid repeated use will wear them down. The EZ Tee somehow avoids that trap. It feels substantial enough to inspire confidence while remaining wonderfully light against the skin. The flatlock seam construction is smooth and unobtrusive, with no noticeable rubbing or irritation during testing. Even over longer efforts, the shirt remained comfortable against the skin, allowing the impossibly soft Quick n' Fit fabric to take center stage. The construction is clean and unobtrusive, allowing the shirt to move naturally without rubbing or creating hot spots over longer distances.
It's also one of the few tops we tested that seemed to come out of the washing machine looking exactly as it did before. No twisting hems, no loss of softness, no noticeable wear after repeated laundering. In an age of disposable-feeling athletic apparel, that durability feels refreshingly old-fashioned. Having worn, tested, and beaten other Rabbit products down, we are happy to report that the EZ Tee will, like other Rabbit products, stand the test of time.
Breathability
The EZ Tee doesn't announce its performance credentials with dramatic mesh panels or flashy ventilation zones. Instead, it quietly excels.
At 2.93 ounces, this shirt's fabric allows for impressive airflow while maintaining enough structure to avoid feeling clingy or see-through. Heat dissipates efficiently, and the fabric doesn't plaster itself to the body the moment you break a sweat. While it isn't quite as aggressively airy as others in peak summer conditions, it performs admirably across a broad range of temperatures. It strikes a middle ground that makes it feel useful year-round rather than limited to one season.
Moisture Control
The Rabbit EZ Tee is all about balance. It balances comfort with durability, style with function, and moisture control with wearability.
The recycled polyester blend does an excellent job moving moisture away from the body, and in testing, the shirt dried in an impressive 25 minutes on a clothesline. That kind of turnaround speaks to how efficiently the fabric releases moisture rather than holding onto it. Even during harder efforts, the EZ Tee rarely feels waterlogged or heavy. Sweat disperses quickly through the material, helping maintain comfort without creating a clingy sensation that can derail an otherwise enjoyable run. While it may feel a bit damp compared to paper-thin athletic shirts, we will happily deal with it to run in a shirt that offers sustainably greater durability.
Versatility
The EZ Tee shines across our metrics, and we find it to be one of the most versatile running shirts on the market for several reasons. The subtle design details, such as the V-shaped accents along the sides and at the back of the neckline, give this tee a more elevated look than many technical running tops. It doesn't scream “performance apparel” quite as much as some race-oriented shirts do. As a result, it transitions seamlessly from running to errands, travel days, dog walks, strength sessions, and coffee stops. You could pack it for a weekend trip and wear it comfortably in multiple ways without feeling underdressed or overly sporty. In many respects, it embodies the ideal of modern athletic apparel: functional enough for training and attractive enough for everyday life. Oh! And it offers a UPF rating of 50, sweetening the deal even more.
Should You Buy the Rabbit EZ Tee?
The Rabbit EZ Tee isn't the flashiest racing kit-styled shirt in the lineup, nor is it the most specialized. Instead, it excels by being exceptionally easy to love. It's soft without being delicate, lightweight without feeling insubstantial, and stylish without trying too hard. It washes beautifully, dries quickly, and feels just as good on the fiftieth wear as it does on the first. The Rabbit EZ Tee is the one you instinctively pull from the drawer six days of the week. It may not demand attention, but it quietly earns its place as one of the most wearable running shirts we tested - and one of the easiest to recommend.
What Other Running Shirts Should You Consider?
If sweltering runs are in your future this summer, we don't hesitate to recommend the breezy Oiselle Flyout Short Sleeve. The Flyout is not as smooth or as aesthetically pleasing as the EZ Tee, but it works hard to keep your core from overheating in steamy situations. If you want a thin, technical-feeling tee for your running needs, the REI Swiftland T-shirt is a moisture-wicking, technical powerhouse with the ability to go the distance with you. If you want a running top that boasts the best technical specs around, the 50+ UPF-rated, antimicrobial Stio Lucent T-shirt is a fantastic gear investment to make.
